Sky show

On Friday, besides handing out sweets to begging children, I will be watching the skies. Just after sunset on Friday Venus and the moon will be in the southwestern skyscape.

Then on Saturday evening I should be able to see an earthshine or earthlight. The effect seen when the earth reflects the sun onto the dark side of the moon.


I'm hoping to get a good photo. Although nothing I could take would look half as good as the one above.
