A bed, a bed, my kingdom for a bed

After a day of traveling I am ready for bed. I will definitely sleep well tonight.

I drove straight through today -- about 8 hours. Stopping for a quick lunch and a couple times for gas. It is amazing how tiring driving is! I would not want to be a long haul driver.

I am thankful I had no problems and got here (northeastern Kansas) safely. My plan is to leave early tomorrow and get home mid-afternoon!

I would have to say that the highlight of the day was calling my brother from the motel to wish him a happy birthday! Happy birthday, B!
